RedotPay Fees and Pro Membership 2026: The Break-Even, Calculated

TL;DR — RedotPay is the largest crypto card by payment volume, and it pays no standing cashback at all. The 3% figure people quote belongs to RedotPay Pro, a paid membership costing $12.90 a month or $129 a year, and it is capped at $18 of rewards per month. Run the numbers and the cashback is the weakest reason to buy Pro: the annual plan’s ATM fee waiver is worth up to $20 a month against a cost of $10.75.

Quick answer: on the monthly plan you need about $430 of Apple Pay or Google Pay spending every month just to break even on the fee. On the annual plan the figure is about $358 — and if you were going to buy a physical card anyway, the first year effectively costs $29 rather than $129. All figures from RedotPay’s own help centre, checked 26 September 2026.

What This Guide Covers

Where these terms sit against other stablecoin cards on the same yardstick, we keep a breakdown on Fat Cat Card’s RedotPay page.

Two things stand out. First, there is no cashback line anywhere in the fee table. The standard RedotPay card does not carry a published base cashback rate — spending it earns nothing by default. Second, the real cost of a purchase abroad is not 1.2% but closer to 2.2%, because the 1% crypto conversion fee applies alongside the 1.2% non-default-currency fee.

What Pro Actually Includes, By Tier

The 3% figure that circulates in reviews is a RedotPay Pro benefit, and the two tiers are not simply monthly and annual versions of the same thing. The annual plan carries two benefits the monthly plan does not.

Monthly — $12.90/mo Annual — $129/yr
Card fee waiver Virtual card ($10 value) Physical card ($100 value)
Cashback 3% on Apple Pay / Google Pay, max $18/mo 3% on Apple Pay / Google Pay, max $18/mo
ATM fee waiver None Up to $1,000 of withdrawals per month
Earn bonus None +1% APY, first $1,000,000 subscribed
Refundable? No — membership fees are non-refundable once paid

The physical card voucher does not expire once issued, and membership attaches to the account rather than to a card, so replacing or freezing a card does not affect it.

The Break-Even, Calculated

Cashback is 3% of qualifying spend, capped at $18 a month. Qualifying spend means Apple Pay and Google Pay transactions only — a card number typed into a website does not count. So the cap binds at $600 of monthly mobile-wallet spending, and the arithmetic is short.

Monthly Apple/Google Pay spend Cashback earned Monthly plan net ($12.90) Annual plan net ($10.75/mo)
$200 $6.00 −$6.90 −$4.75
$358 $10.74 −$2.16 break-even
$430 $12.90 break-even +$2.15
$600 (cap reached) $18.00 +$5.10 +$7.25
$2,000 $18.00 (capped) +$5.10 +$7.25

The last two rows are the point. Because the cap is absolute, spending more than $600 a month through a mobile wallet adds nothing. The most the cashback can ever return is $18 a month, or $216 a year, and after the annual fee that is a maximum net gain of $87 over twelve months. Treating Pro as a cashback product means buying a subscription for a benefit that tops out at about seven dollars a month.

There is one exception worth calculating separately. The annual plan waives the $100 physical card fee. If you were going to order a physical card anyway, the first year of Pro costs $29 net, not $129 — which drops the first-year break-even to roughly $81 of monthly qualifying spend. That is a genuinely different proposition, but it applies once.

Why The ATM Waiver Beats The Cashback

The benefit that actually carries the annual plan is the one nobody puts in a headline. RedotPay charges 2% on ATM withdrawals up to $10,000 a month, and annual members get the first $1,000 of withdrawals each month fee-free.

Benefit Maximum monthly value Against a cost of
Cashback (3%, capped) $18.00 $10.75/month on the annual plan
ATM fee waiver ($1,000 × 2%) $20.00

Someone who withdraws $1,000 a month in cash recovers the entire annual fee on that benefit alone, with the cashback on top. Someone who never uses an ATM is buying a $129 subscription for a benefit worth at most $216. That distinction, not the 3% figure, is what decides whether Pro is worth buying.

⚠️ One limit on the waiver — it covers RedotPay’s own fee only. The operator surcharge that the local bank or ATM adds is not covered, and above $1,000 in a month the standard 2% resumes.

The Catch Nobody Mentions: USDs Expire

Cashback is not paid in dollars, USDT or anything transferable. It is paid in USDs, RedotPay’s internal reward unit, and the rules attached to it change what the 3% is worth.

  • They expire after 30 days. Rewards you do not spend within a month are gone.
  • They can only be spent on card transactions. No withdrawal, no transfer, and they cannot be used to buy a card.
  • They are clawed back on a refund. Return a purchase and the corresponding cashback is deducted immediately — and if your USDs balance is too low to cover it, RedotPay states an equivalent amount may be taken from your other assets.

The 30-day expiry is the one that quietly reduces the effective rate. A reward that must be spent within a month to exist at all is worth less than the same number credited in cash, particularly for anyone whose spending is seasonal rather than steady.

FAQ

Does the RedotPay card give cashback without a Pro membership?

RedotPay’s published card fee table contains no cashback line, and the 3% rate is documented as a RedotPay Pro membership benefit. Without Pro, card spending does not earn a standing cashback rate. Limited-time promotions run separately and can stack with Pro cashback.

How much does RedotPay Pro cost and what is the cashback cap?

RedotPay Pro costs $12.90 per month or $129 per year, and membership fees are non-refundable. Cashback is 3% on Apple Pay and Google Pay purchases only, capped at 18 USDs per month. The cap binds at $600 of monthly mobile-wallet spending, so the maximum possible return is $216 a year.

At what spending level does RedotPay Pro break even?

On the monthly plan you need about $430 of Apple Pay or Google Pay spending each month to cover the $12.90 fee at a 3% rate. On the annual plan, which works out to $10.75 a month, break-even is about $358. If the annual plan’s $100 physical card waiver is used, the first year costs $29 net and break-even falls to roughly $81 a month.

Can RedotPay cashback be withdrawn?

No. Cashback is issued as USDs, which can only be spent on future card transactions. They cannot be withdrawn as cash, transferred to another account, or used to purchase a card, and they expire 30 days after issue. If a purchase is refunded, the corresponding cashback is reclaimed automatically.

What does a foreign purchase actually cost on a RedotPay card?

Two fees apply together. The crypto conversion fee is 1.00% and the non-default-currency transaction fee is 1.20%, giving roughly 2.2% in total on a foreign-currency purchase. The HKD card carries 2.00% instead of 1.20%. Transactions in the card’s default currency are waived.

Is the RedotPay annual plan’s ATM waiver worth more than the cashback?

For anyone who withdraws cash it usually is. RedotPay charges 2% on ATM withdrawals, and annual members get the first $1,000 each month fee-free, a maximum value of $20 a month against a cost of $10.75. The cashback tops out at $18.
