Binance Is Delisting EPIC and QUICK: Act Before October 20
Short answer: Binance’s delisting notice published on October 14, 2026 ends spot trading in Epic Chain (EPIC) and QuickSwap (QUICK) at 03:00 UTC on October 28, 2026. The dates that actually bite come earlier. Futures positions are force-closed at 09:00 UTC on October 20. Margin pairs go at 10:00 UTC the same day. Simple Earn auto-redeems after 07:00 UTC on October 21. Deposits stop being credited at 03:00 UTC on October 29, and withdrawals stay open until 03:00 UTC on December 28, 2026. Binance may convert whatever is left into stablecoins after December 29, but it does not promise to.
Delisting notices are written product by product, which is the opposite of how a holder reads them. You do not care about “Binance Pool” or “Dual Investment” in the abstract. You care about the one place your EPIC or QUICK is sitting right now and what that place does to it, on what date.
So this is the same notice re-sorted by where your balance lives.
Not investment advice. All times are UTC and come from Binance’s English notice (reference 290a660c) as published on October 14, 2026; Binance says the English version prevails where translations differ. Prices quoted are from third-party reporting on October 14 and will have moved.

Why is Binance delisting EPIC and QUICK?
Binance’s October 14, 2026 notice gives no token-specific reason for removing Epic Chain (EPIC) and QuickSwap (QUICK); it lists eleven general review factors instead, including trading volume and liquidity, development activity, team commitment, network security, transparency and responsiveness to due-diligence requests (Binance announcement, October 14, 2026).
That is normal for Binance. The exchange almost never says which factor failed. What it does publish, in detail, is the schedule, and the schedule is where the money is.
One thing worth knowing before the timeline: the notice opens with the line “products and services referred to here may not be available in your region.” If you are on Binance.US or a regional entity, your local notice may differ. Everything below is the global exchange.
Every Deadline on One Timeline
When I checked the English notice against two secondary write-ups, I found that one of them had dropped the time zone entirely, which turns a 03:00 UTC cutoff into “3 a.m.” in whatever zone the reader is in. The table below uses Binance’s UTC stamps as printed.
| Date (2026, UTC) | Product | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Oct 15, 03:00 | Buy & Sell Crypto | Tokens and pairs removed (already passed) |
| Oct 15, 06:00 | Margin | New borrowing suspended (already passed) |
| Oct 20, 03:00 | Binance Pool | Mining support ends; final payout the next day |

| Oct 20, 08:30 | Futures | No new positions |
| Oct 20, 09:00 | Futures, Funding Rate Arbitrage Bot | All positions closed and auto-settled; contracts delisted |
| Oct 20, 10:00 | Cross, Isolated, Portfolio Margin | Positions closed, settled, orders cancelled; process takes about 3 hours |
| Oct 21, 03:00 | Spot Copy Trading | Pairs removed; remaining assets force-sold at market or moved to Spot if unsellable |
| Oct 21, 07:00 | Simple Earn | Flexible and Locked positions auto-redeemed to Spot with accrued rewards |
| “Subsequent Friday”, 08:00 | Dual Investment | No new subscriptions; unsettled ones refunded within 4 hours (notice does not name the date) |

Compiled from Binance’s English notice of October 14, 2026. Bold rows are the ones where Binance acts on your balance without you.
Read the bold rows and you have the whole story. October 20 is the leverage day. October 28 is the spot day. December 28 is the last exit.
What happens to an open EPIC or QUICK futures position?
Binance Futures will close every open EPIC and QUICK perpetual position and settle it automatically at 09:00 UTC on October 20, 2026, with new positions blocked from 08:30 UTC that morning, according to the October 14 notice. The notice explicitly advises closing positions yourself before then “to avoid automatic settlement.”
There is a second clause most people skip. Binance says it “may undertake additional protective measures” on these contracts “without further announcements,” and lists what those can be: lower maximum leverage, smaller position caps, higher maintenance margin per tier, changed funding parameters including the funding cap, a different price index, and the Last Price Protected mechanism for the mark price.
In plain terms, between now and October 20 your liquidation price on these two contracts can move against you with no notice, because the margin rules underneath it can change.
This part trips a lot of people up. A forced settlement is not the same as a liquidation. You keep whatever the position is worth at the settlement price. But you do not choose the price, and the order book on a contract everyone knows is dying nine days out is thin. Our earlier piece on why positions get liquidated before a stop-loss triggers covers the mark-price mechanics that decide where a thin contract actually settles.
If you run the Funding Rate Arbitrage Bot on either symbol, it is closed and settled at the same 09:00 UTC moment.
What if I borrowed against these tokens on Margin?
Binance Margin removes EPIC and QUICK from Cross, Isolated and Portfolio Margin at 10:00 UTC on October 20, 2026, closes positions, cancels pending orders and runs a settlement that the notice says “may take approximately 3 hours,” during which users “will not be able to update their positions.”
Borrowing was already suspended at 06:00 UTC on October 15. Transfers in are restricted “effective immediately,” with one exception: if you owe these tokens, you may transfer in up to the liability amount, less collateral already there.
What the settlement does depends on which side you are on:
- Collateral only. The tokens are sold to USDT or USDC and the proceeds go to your Margin balance. Binance states it “is not liable for any losses incurred.”
- Liabilities only. Pending orders in your Cross Margin account are cancelled, then other collateral is sold to buy back and repay the delisted token.
- Both. Collateral repays the liability first, and whatever remains falls into one of the two cases above.
Portfolio Margin users get a specific warning: move the tokens to Spot and top up margin beforehand, and watch the Unified Maintenance Margin Ratio (uniMMR), because removing an asset from the margin pool can trigger a liquidation on positions that have nothing to do with EPIC or QUICK.
Honestly, that last point is the most expensive sentence in the notice.

Do I need to redeem Simple Earn or Dual Investment myself?
No. Binance Simple Earn automatically redeems Flexible and Locked EPIC and QUICK positions after 07:00 UTC on October 21, 2026 and transfers them to your Spot Account “together with any accrued rewards,” per the October 14 notice. You may redeem earlier, but you do not have to.
Dual Investment is vaguer. New subscriptions stop “from the subsequent Friday at 08:00 (UTC)” and unsettled subscriptions are refunded at that same time, with assets and rewards arriving in Spot within 4 hours and rewards pro-rated to the actual subscription period. The notice does not print a calendar date for that Friday. If you hold a Dual Investment product in either token, check the product page rather than assuming.
Two other automatic unwinds on the same day:
- Spot Copy Trading pairs go at 03:00 UTC on October 21. Anything left is sold at market, or moved to Spot if it cannot be sold.
- Loan positions (VIP Loan and Flexible Loan) using these tokens are closed at 07:00 UTC on October 20, a day earlier. Repay first if you want to pick the price.
How long can I still sell, deposit and withdraw?
You can sell EPIC and QUICK on Binance spot until 03:00 UTC on October 28, 2026, deposits stop being credited at 03:00 UTC on October 29, and withdrawals remain open until 03:00 UTC on December 28, 2026, which is two months after trading ends.
Three details from the notice that matter in practice:
- Open orders are deleted at the spot cutoff. A limit sell sitting above the market on October 28 does not fill; it vanishes.
- The balance disappears from view once the valuation is removed. Binance says to make sure “Hide Small Balances” is unticked in every account type, or you will think the tokens are gone.
- Convert closes before Spot. Convert Low-Value Assets drops the tokens at 02:00 UTC on October 27 and regular Convert at 02:00 UTC on October 28, an hour before spot trading ends.
Deposits are the trap for anyone with tokens on another exchange or in a wallet. A transfer that lands after 03:00 UTC on October 29 is not credited. If you were planning to consolidate onto Binance to sell, do it this week, not on the 28th. If a withdrawal hangs, our guide on crypto withdrawals stuck on pending walks through the usual causes.
What Happens If You Do Nothing
Some holders will read none of this. Here is where each kind of balance ends up if you ignore every date.
| Where your tokens are | Binance acts on | Outcome without action | Better move |
|---|---|---|---|
| Futures position | Oct 20, 09:00 UTC | Force-closed at settlement price | Close it yourself while there is still a book |
| Margin collateral | Oct 20, 10:00 UTC | Sold to USDT/USDC at Binance’s timing | Transfer to Spot, sell or withdraw on your terms |
| Margin loan in the token | Oct 20, 10:00 UTC | Other collateral sold to repay it | Repay now with the token you choose |
| Simple Earn | Oct 21, 07:00 UTC | Redeemed to Spot with rewards (harmless) | Nothing needed until Spot cutoff |
| Spot balance | Oct 28, 03:00 UTC | Unsellable on Binance; withdrawable until Dec 28 | Sell, or withdraw to a chain wallet or another venue |
| Still there after Dec 28 | Dec 29, 03:00 UTC onward | Possibly converted to stablecoins; “not guaranteed” | Do not rely on it |
Our reading of the October 14, 2026 notice. The “better move” column is procedural, not a view on whether to hold either token.
The stablecoin conversion deserves one more sentence. Binance did a version of this for several delisted tokens in the past, and the notice keeps the option open, but the wording is “may be converted” and “not guaranteed,” with a promise of a separate notification first. Treat December 28 as the real end. We saw the same structure, with much tighter dates, in CoinEx’s shutdown timeline last month.
How much did the price fall on the news?
By midday on October 14, 2026, QUICK was trading around $0.0069, roughly 30% below the previous day, and EPIC around $0.36, about 16% lower, according to CoinGecko figures reported by CryptoTicker, which put QUICK’s market cap near $4.6 million and EPIC’s near $12.1 million (CryptoTicker, October 14, 2026).
Those are small caps, which is why a single-exchange delisting moves them this much. EPIC’s 24-hour volume of about $22.5 million was larger than its entire market cap on the day, a sign of holders rushing one exit.
You’ll probably notice the same pattern on every delisting: the first-day drop is the exchange’s liquidity leaving, and the second leg, if there is one, comes when margin and futures positions are unwound on the leverage day. For these two tokens that day is October 20.
Tips
- Convert the UTC stamps to your local time once and write them down. Binance does not localise them in the notice.
- Untick “Hide Small Balances” in Spot, Funding and Margin views before October 28 so you can see what is left.
- If you intend to withdraw rather than sell, test the destination chain with a small amount first. Withdrawals are open until December 28, but network availability is Binance’s caveat, not yours.
- Screenshot any open futures or margin position before October 20 along with its liquidation price. If the settlement looks wrong, that is your evidence for support.
- Check Binance’s full delisting criteria list before you buy into the next small cap. Low volume on the exchange itself is the first item that gets reviewed.
Warnings
- Binance can change leverage, margin tiers and funding on these two contracts before October 20 without a new announcement. Your liquidation price is not fixed.
- Portfolio Margin users can be liquidated on unrelated positions when EPIC or QUICK collateral is removed from the pool. Top up before 10:00 UTC on October 20.
- A deposit that arrives after 03:00 UTC on October 29 is not credited. Do not send tokens to Binance to sell them late.
- The stablecoin conversion after December 29 is optional on Binance’s side. Plan as if it will not happen.
- Regional Binance entities may publish different dates. This article covers the global notice only.
FAQ
Can I still trade EPIC or QUICK futures on Binance this weekend?
Yes, until 08:30 UTC on October 20, 2026, when new positions are blocked. Existing positions are force-closed and settled at 09:00 UTC that day. Binance may tighten leverage or margin on the contracts before then without a new notice.
Will Binance pay me in USDT for tokens I forget to withdraw?
Possibly, but it is not promised. The notice says delisted tokens may be converted to stablecoins after 03:00 UTC on December 29, 2026, that the conversion is not guaranteed, and that a separate notification would come first. If conversion is not feasible, withdrawals stay open subject to network availability.
Does the delisting affect EPIC and QUICK on other exchanges or on-chain?
Not directly. The notice covers Binance products only. Both tokens continue to exist on their own networks and on any other venue that lists them, which is why withdrawing to a wallet or another exchange before December 28 is an option alongside selling.
