Bitvavo Delists ACX October 27: Sell or Withdraw?

Short answer: Bitvavo is removing Across Protocol (ACX) on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. Deposits close at 13:00 CET. Trading ends at 14:00. Withdrawals to your own wallet stop at 15:00. Anything left is converted to euros on or before November 5 at whatever the market price is that moment. Decide before the 14:00 bell: sell, withdraw, or accept the forced conversion.

If ACX is sitting in a Bitvavo account, the clock is already running.

This post lays out the three timestamps that matter, what each choice costs, and how the forced conversion differs from a sale you control.

What are the Bitvavo ACX delisting deadlines?

Bitvavo will end ACX (Across Protocol) trading at 14:00 CET on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, after closing deposits at 13:00 and before closing withdrawals to external wallets at 15:00, according to CryptoTicker’s report of Bitvavo’s notice.

Time (CET), Oct 27, 2026 What happens
13:00 ACX deposits into Bitvavo close
14:00 Buying and selling end; last chance to sell on the exchange
15:00 Withdrawals to external wallets close
By Nov 5, 2026 Remaining ACX converted to euros at the market price at that moment

When I checked the CryptoTicker report on October 22, 2026, I found that staking is ended automatically before trading closes and the tokens return to the account, after which the same deadlines apply. Bitvavo’s own notice (bitvavo.com/en/news/delist-acx) returned an access error to my automated request, so confirm the times there before you act.

Should you sell ACX or withdraw it?

Selling ACX on Bitvavo ends your exposure at the order-book price before 14:00 CET on October 27, 2026, while withdrawing keeps the token but needs a wallet in your name and pays a network fee.

Option What you get What it costs Catch
Sell on Bitvavo before 14:00 Euros, at the price you choose Normal spot trading fee, plus spread A thinly traded token can have a wide spread
Withdraw before 15:00 ACX in your own wallet Network fee Address must be in your name
Do nothing Euros after forced conversion Unknown price risk Price is set at the conversion moment, not today

I noticed that the report warns the spread on a thin token can cost more than the trading fee itself. As of October 21, 2026, CryptoTicker, citing CoinGecko, put ACX at about $0.0484 with roughly $1.11 million in 24-hour volume. Those are small numbers, so a large order will move the price.

Most people skip the order-book depth and regret it. Look at it before you sell, and think about splitting a large position into several limit orders.

What happens to ACX left on Bitvavo after October 27?

ACX left in a Bitvavo account after the October 27, 2026 deadlines is converted to euros automatically on November 5, 2026 or earlier, at the market price at the time of conversion.

That gap matters. Trading on Bitvavo stops on the 27th but the conversion can come up to nine days later, and during those days ACX trades elsewhere without Bitvavo’s order book. You would be accepting a price you cannot see yet.

If you hold ACX at several exchanges, check each one. Binance ended spot trading in ACX on August 17, 2026, according to the same report, and Bitso’s support page describes trading ending on September 16, 2026 with leftovers converted to USD. Each exchange has its own rules.

Why is ACX being removed from exchanges?

Several exchanges have dropped ACX in 2026 after Risk Labs proposed in March 2026 to move Across Protocol into a US corporation, a plan under which ACX holders could swap tokens for equity or hand them in for cash, per CryptoTicker.

Across Protocol itself has said some exchanges may delist ACX and that this does not change its exchange plan. The practical point for a holder is simple: the venues where you can sell are shrinking.

A Plain Checklist Before 14:00 CET

  • Log in today and confirm your ACX balance, including anything that was staked.
  • Decide: sell, withdraw, or accept conversion. Write it down.
  • If withdrawing, test with a small amount to an address you own.
  • If selling, look at the order book and use a limit order.
  • If you do nothing, note the conversion date range and check your account afterward.

The report also notes that, under German rules, a forced conversion counts as a disposal; holdings kept longer than twelve months are described as tax-free, and gains within twelve months fall under the €1,000 annual exemption limit. Rules differ by country and by person, so ask a tax adviser.

Tips

  • Do everything before 14:00 CET on October 27; do not leave it to the last minute.
  • Withdraw only to a wallet in your name that supports ACX.
  • Take a screenshot of your balance and the final transaction for your records.

Warnings

  • A forced euro conversion happens at a price you do not control.
  • Token prices and exchange notices can change; verify on the official notice.
  • This is not investment advice; any trade can lose money.
